Specifications
Our standard PVC cling film (polyvinyl chloride cling film) is produced in thicknesses from 8 to 15 microns. Common widths are 250mm, 300mm, 380mm, 450mm and 500mm; common lengths are 200m, 300m, 500m and 1000m for finished retail/HORECA packs, and up to 5000m for jumbo rolls destined for rewinders. Cores are available in 1”, 1.5” and 3” inner diameters depending on the dispenser or wrapping machine at the end of the line. The material is rated for refrigerator and chiller use down to –20°C and for short contact with warm food up to +60°C. Microwave use is not recommended, consistent with standard industry guidance for PVC food wrap.

Manufacturing and quality control
Production runs inside a food-grade cleanroom environment in our Ningbo Qianwan New Area plant in Cixi, commissioned in 2025 after relocation from the original Dalian facility. Multiple extrusion lines allow us to schedule large export orders without blocking our domestic supply, and incoming PVC resin is tested batch by batch before the line. Finished rolls are checked for thickness uniformity, transparency, cling strength, odor and visual defects, and we retain production samples against every export lot for at least 12 months so that any downstream query can be traced back to a specific run.
Shipping and export
All prices are quoted by default FOB Ningbo under HS code 3920.43 / 3920.49 (plastic film, plasticized, of polymers of vinyl chloride). CIF and CFR quotations to your destination port are available on request. Because our plant sits roughly 40 km from Ningbo-Zhoushan Port, trucking to the terminal is a same-day operation, and we can typically load a 20GP container within 24–48 hours of a release instruction. Typical transit times from Ningbo: 3–5 days to Ho Chi Minh, 5–7 days to Manila and Bangkok, 7–10 days to Jakarta, 15–20 days to Alexandria, and 18–25 days to Jebel Ali and Lagos.

Beyond stock sizes, we produce custom widths, lengths and core diameters, and we offer private-label and OEM services: custom color-box artwork, multi-language labels (English, Arabic, Bahasa Indonesia, Vietnamese, Tagalog), custom master-carton branding, and printed film with the buyer’s logo. Is SUNWRAP PVC cling film food-safe?+
Yes. Our PVC cling film meets FDA food-contact requirements and is SGS-tested. The same formulation has been produced and sold in Korea, Japan and across China for more than 20 years under the SUNWRAP / SYC brand.
What is the minimum order quantity (MOQ)?+
Standard MOQ is one 20GP container for jumbo rolls, or 500 cartons for finished consumer packs. Smaller trial orders are negotiable for new buyers, especially for sample shipments and first-time private-label runs.
What sizes and thicknesses can you supply?+
Thickness from 8 to 15 microns, widths from 250mm to 500mm, roll lengths from 200m up to 5000m jumbo rolls. Any combination within these ranges can be produced. Custom widths and lengths are available with a moderate setup fee.
Which payment terms and Incoterms do you accept?+
FOB Ningbo is our default quotation. CIF, CFR and EXW are also available. Payment terms: 30% T/T deposit with 70% against copy of B/L, or irrevocable L/C at sight for orders above USD 30,000. Alibaba Trade Assurance is supported for first-time buyers.
How long does production and shipping take?+
Production lead time is 15–25 days after deposit, depending on order size and printing. From Ningbo-Zhoushan Port, transit time is approximately 3–5 days to Vietnam, 5–7 days to the Philippines and Thailand, 7–10 days to Indonesia, 15–20 days to Egypt, and 18–25 days to Nigeria and the UAE.
Can I get a free sample before ordering?+
Yes. We provide free samples of standard specifications; the buyer only covers the courier cost. For custom-printed or custom-size samples, a small tooling fee applies and is refunded on the first bulk order.
